National vovinam top teams champs starts in Yên Bái

YÊN BÁI — The National Vovinam (Vietnamese traditional martial arts) Top Teams Championships started in the northern mountainous province of Yên Bái on Tuesday.

The tournament marked the return of Vovinam after the COVID- 一 九 pandemic. The tournament is an opportunity for athletes to prepare for the SEA Games  三 一 in Việt Nam next year.

This year, there were  二 八 七 martial artists from  三0 teams nationwide taking part.

Players will compete for  四 八 sets of medals in  二 六 combat and  二 二 performance events.

The tournament will last until June  二 七. — VNS
