HÀ NỘI — The National Top Karatedo Clubs Championships opened yesterday in the Central Highland Province of Đắk Lắk.

Nearly  七00 martial artists from  五 七 clubs across the country took part in the event. They will compete for  五 六 sets of medals in kata (performance) and kumite (combat) in age groups of  一 二- 一 四,  一 五- 一 七, over  一 八 and over  三 五.

The event, which was organized by the National Sports Administration and the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, will finish on Saturday.

The tournament’s best players will be selected for the national team to compete in international events. — VNS
