National youth table tennis champs underway in Lào Cai

HÀ NỘI – The National Youth Table Tennis Championship began in the northern mountainous province of Lào Cai over the weekend.

The event attracted  七 二0 players from  三 二 teams nationwide.

Athletes will compete in  三 六 events with  一 四 四 sets of medals in different age groups.

The event aims to give young aces a chance to hone their skills and develop young table tennis stars.

According to the organising board, the event’s best players will be selected for national team to compete in international events.

It will last until next Monday. – VNS
